I bought this for my wife after she had such a terrible time with a Suunto watch and after reading some Amazon reviews. I can only qualify all the positive comments that have already been written about this device. It is truly amazing and does exactly what it says on the box. She has used it many times now all over the world and in some locations where I thought it would be difficult to get a GPS signal but it coped with them all. Yes it looks like a Star Trek prop but you aren't buying it as a fashion accessory.

I won't add to the myriad positive reviews on this website extolling the virtues of this fantastic product. For a GPS sports watch that acts as your own personal trainer look no further, this is all you will need. A fantastic product at a fantastic price. Better value than the 305 you will not find.
The sole purpose of my review is to advise all potential buyers (and existing owners!) to download and use the SportTracks software. The bundled Garmin software is quite simply dreadful, and coupled with the SportTracks package this is a remarkable device that will deliver every time.
